I have known Debra (and Jackie) for a loooong time. Not only were they both impeccably dressed all the time, but they managed to do it while being kind to all the women around them. I looked up to Debra then and continue to do so now. And there is not an article she writes that I don't feel compelled to share with another person—the highest form of praise a fellow writer can give. Keep em' coming.

This is exactly the kind of generosity I was hoping to illustrate in my essay, Jamie - the fact that you took a minute to say that changed my morning. Thank you for the beautiful lift - and indeed, the highest compliment you could give. xx

Thank you! You're definitely one of the women I was thinking of when I talked about generosity. I wrote this story a while ago but I'm suddenly getting Likes on it - no idea how these things work! xxoo

Ah, thank you! Handbags are so confusing... and they're also funny and heartwarming sometimes, I suppose!
