It truy was a blessing to have the two of them in our lives - I didn't write about Hugh, but he was gentle and kind - as soft as Peter is loud. Thank you for reading it and for commenting so generously, my friend!
What a wonderful story. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend last year. I feel like your movie experience should become a scene in a lovely movie about friendship, cringes, love and laughter. Definitely sounds like someone who deserved you wearing those shoes!
Another beautiful story! I had a Peter in my life too. His name was Eric and he died of AIDS in 1989. I wore fabulous red shoes to his funeral. I know he saw them :)
Thank you for bringing back wonderful memories for me.
The only thing better than this story was when Sarah got so drunk with Peter at some family event, I don’t know which one. They were kindered souls. Who knows what they were talking about all night. He could connect with anyone.
Vivid. Funny. True.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Oh Debra. You made me love Peter even more than I already do. What a beautiful story.
Wow - thank you so much.
Oh…you got me with Peter and Hughie. What a blessing to have this couple in your life. RESPECT!!!!
